Shakyamuni Buddha
                 "Om Muni Muni Maha Muni
                  Shakya Muni Soha"


Told by the Buddha from the Perfection of Wisdom Sutras. The goal of the mantra is for the attainment of wisdom. the mantra is loosely translated to mean:

"Oh wise one, wise one, greatly wise one, wise one of the Shakyans, Hail!

Amitabha Mantra
                   "Namo Amitabha"


Told by the Buddha from the Infinite Light Sutra, the mantra is to pay homage to Amitabha Buddha, the Buddha of Infinite Light. The goal of the mantra is to bring oneself closer to Amitabha Buddha and for Amitabha to bring the speaker to Amitabha Buddha's Western Pureland.
Medicine Buddha Mantra
             "Thadya Tha Om
              Baisejye Baisejye Maha Baisejya
              Samudgate Svaha"


Also known as Baisajyaguru Buddha is the Buddha of healing and medicine, who made great vows to relieve the pain of those who were sick. The goal of the mantra is to provide healing for those who are sick. The mantra is loosely translated to mean:

“Appear, O Healer, O Healer, O Great Healer, To the Supreme Healer, Hail!”


Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva,
Da Bei Zhou Mantra

The Great Compassion mantra. It is 84 lines long. The mantra provides healing, protection and purification of bad karma.





Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva​ Mantra
               
    "Om Ha Ha Ha Vismaye Svaha"

After telling the story of Ksititgarbha to his disciple, The Buddha revealed this mantra. The purpose of the mantra is to create a luminous life and filled with equanimity. The mantra is translated to mean:

Om Ha Ha Ha Wondrous One Hail!






Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva,
Heart Sutra - Prajna Paramita

This is a sutra, not a mantra, but since it is so short many Buddhist memorize and chant it. The purpose of the sutra is to lead one to enlightenment.
